Hey Shady Side Academy Boys Ice Hockey Fans!
The Indians traveled out to the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center Friday afternoon for a 2pm game against the visiting Ridley College Tigers who travelled from St. Catharines, Ontario Canada for this preseason match. It was quite an intense game that went back and forth throughout the first period and a half until the Tigers overmatched the Indians for their first goal. The Indians held their own though in this one and battled the entire game however after pulling their goalie the Tigers notched an empty-netter to solidify a win for them 2-0. It was still an awesome game and really fast paced. I’ve played for 17 years and I haven’t seen kids skate like this before. It was an awesome opportunity to film.
