Hey Pine-Richland football fans!
The first practice of Summer many WPIAL Football players think of the game that was played Friday afternoon. One of the biggest days in their young lives and the Rams prepared to grind this game out against the 2013 WPIAL AAAA Champion Pittsburgh Central Catholic Vikings. This game would be a rematch of the Section Championship from October 17th played at Highmark Stadium. The Rams took the field and went back and forth the entire first half with no team scoring a point. It wasn’t until the 3rd quarter that they opened up the game 7-0 and never lost that confidence. Final score, 21-13 in favor of the Rams and a new 2014 WPIAL AAAA Champion! Huge congratulations to these boys who worked so hard this year and will now look to the State playoffs! For now, enjoy Friday’s highlights!
