Hello everyone,
Saturday, October 12th, 2019 marked 11th wedding of 2019 and Somerset County was the unique location for Josh and Laura whose personalities perfectly fit Highlands Farm. I arrived around 12:30pm and the weather was cool and had an occasional drizzle of rain. This would all change right before the wedding ceremony as the sun would come out from behind the clouds and shine down on Laura and Josh. The video below showcases the moment I arrived at Highland Farms and was greeted by the bridesmaids who were getting ready in the cottage on location. Josh would arrive around 2:45pm and the video below intercuts both Laura and Josh as well as they prepared for their big wedding day.
Laura and Josh’s Pre-Wedding Preparations at Highlands Farms:
The Ceremony would get started around 3:30pm. When I film any wedding the first true emotional moment my couples share is when they lock eyes for the first time as the bride makes her walk down the aisle to her groom. Laura was escorted by her mother to Josh and it was truly a beautiful moment. The video below showcases this moment as well as the entrance of all the bridesmaids as well as a beautiful speech given prior to Laura’s arrival in honor of her father.
Laura and Josh’s Ceremonial Entrances at Highlands Farms:
The Ceremony would conclude around 4pm and guests headed into the barn to warm up with drinks and appetizers as the newly weds would bounce around the Farm for formal photos. Guests enjoyed themselves as the beautifully decorated hall matched a Fall Wedding perfectly. The video below showcases inside and outside the Barn where guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Enjoy:
Event Barn at Highlands Farms:
Laura and Josh finished up there formal photo session and entered the Barn to a lively crowd who were all ready to party. There wasn’t a moment the dance floor was empty. Laura and Josh entered the hall and shared in their first dance as husband and wife. They would then head to cutting their cake prior to dinner. Check out the video below showcasing these events:

What an evening it was. This crowd was one that never let the evening slow down. We had so much fun and I believe the videos above showcase only a teaser of all the enjoyment we all shared!

Congratulations, Laura and Josh! Laura, it seems like yesterday I was sitting behind you in homeroom being the weird video guy I still am today. I’m thankful you chose me as your videographer as it was truly an honor. Josh is truly your perfect match. Meeting him the first time I could tell you both are perfect for one another. I wish you both the best of luck in the future and thank you for one incredible day!
