Hello everyone,
Saturday, August 31st I traveled out to Dawson, Pennsylvania for a wedding shoot that I will never forget. Alea and Nick have been good friends of mine for years and I was honored they chose me to film their wedding celebration. The location of their ceremony and reception was Linden Hall Mansion and this may very well be the most beautiful and unique locations I have ever filmed. The weather was absolutely perfect. Minimal humidity and sunny skies looked over the course and mansion and made for a picture perfect day. I arrived at the Mansion/Golf Course around 2:30 and got to work capturing some of the locations along the drive leading up to the massive mansion. There was so many unique spots on the grounds of Linden Hall and especially inside the mansion. Nick and Alea both arrived and prepared for their big day inside of Mansion and I put together a video below showcasing everything I discussed including one of the most memorable “first look” moments I have ever captured. Linden Hall – Alea and Nick’s Pre-Wedding Preparations:
We all wiped away tears of joy after such a beautiful moment and would get back on track in preparation for the Ceremony. Glasses of champagne awaited the guests who would take their seat outside the mansion’s outdoor ceremony that was set up with seats and a beautiful aisle to walk down. Nick and Alea would arrive and be greeted by their guests to a truly beautiful experience. Check out the video of their ceremonial entrances for the entire bridal party:
Victorian Mansion – Alea and Nick’s Cocktail Hour:
Guests headed down the hill and would enter the tent prepared for the wedding reception. Located right next to the hotel on site this was the perfect location for a wedding reception. Guests had dinner and mingled as Nick and Alea enjoyed so many special moments throughout the evening. The dance floor was packed until we headed outside for what was one of the most special moments of the entire day. A very large and professional fireworks display that will forever be engraved in our hearts and minds as what was a magical wedding day for this beautiful couple.
