Hello everyone,
Saturday, September 7th, 2019 I traveled out to Stahlstown, Pennsylvania. A wedding celebration in it’s entirety located on the grounds Oak Lodge. One of the most beautiful locations in Western Pennsylvania. Oak Lodge grounds covers 800 acres of land and was the location for this magical day celebrated by Julia and James. I arrived around 1pm and went straight to work capturing the beautiful nature all around the grounds leading up to Oak Lodge prior to film Julia and James as they prepared for their wedding day. I can go on and on about how beautiful the location is but the truth is a video (seen below) speaks more than words. James and Julia prepared for their day and would have a first look that can bring you to tears. Please take a look:

The Ceremony would get under way around 4pm as guests filled the Chapel. One of the most special moments for any bride is walking down the aisle, being greeted by her guests, and finally her husband to be. A two camera shoot captured this moment perfectly as James and Julia took their first step on their wedding day. Please take a look:

The Ceremony would conclude and the newly-weds exited for a formal photo session by Janyl Nesbit of Fallon’s Photography Studio. Guests exited the hall and headed outside for cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers on the grounds of Oak Lodge right outside the reception hall. The hall would open up and take their seats to bring James and Julia back to the party for toasts, a blessing, dinner, and more mingling amongst the party! The food here at Oak Lodge….FANTASTIC. I cannot say that enough. Family sized portions of filet, homemade Mac-and-cheese, mashed potatoes, and bacon wrapped asparagus were the on the menu for the main course.
If you ever wish to book the Oak Lodge for your wedding I highly recommend working with Alyssa Loughran as the wedding coordinator the day of your wedding. She’s been a friend of mine for years and works closely with brides and grooms to ensure their wedding goes smooth and is a complete business professional.
Dinner would come to a close and the reception would begin outside the hall as we had perfect weather for an outdoor reception celebration. We celebrated many big events on the open dance floor but one of the first that’s always nice to showcase is the first dance a husband and wife enjoy in front of their guests. Julia and James put together one epic first dance so you will have to take a look at this one!

What an amazing wedding day! There were so many wonderful moments and I was honored to be a part of it form beginning to end. The only real way to show way a wonderful wedding this was by putting out the main points in one video as a re-cap of the day. James and Julia created so many moments that I put them together in one video which you can see below. Enjoy!
