Hey Bethel Park Basketball fans!

Saturday afternoon marked the first round of the playoffs for Bethel Park who traveled to Baldwin High School to take on the last team they faced in the regular season, the McKeesport Tigers. This game was an emotional roller coaster that saw both teams take leads and battle until end of regulation with a 51-51 tie to go into Overtime. It was here that things took a turn for the worse for our Hawks who laid it all out there only to come up short with a 58-54 loss and sadly an end to what has been a great season. Although their season has ended, I feel it is important YOU boys and Coach Ben O’Connor know how hard you all have worked and how much of an honor it was to film you this season. You have elevated Bethel Park Basketball to new levels and as I put together the highlight video presentation for your banquet I can reflect over the last few years as I have been filming you all for several years now. It’s great seeing you all grow up with this game and although some of you don’t know me personally, I have had a chance to get to know you by your hard work and play on the court from behind my camera. To the Seniors, I am certain you all will take something very special with you in life from the years you have played together. Rohan, Matt, Ken, Bob, Cody, and Wyatt: I wish you all the best of luck and thank you all again for the great memories and being able to film you growing up in the system. That being said, here are the highlights from Saturday’s contest for our Blackhawks:
