Hey Pine-Richland football fans!
The Rams travelled to North Allegheny Friday night to battle the Tigers who both had seen a win in last week’s WPIAL AAAA football action. This game was a big one as even ROOT sports was there to cover it. A jam packed house saw the Rams take an early 14-0 lead and hold that for most of the first half. The Tigers would battle back though and tie the game 14-14. The two teams went back forth from there on out and by the end of the 4th quarter it was a 21-21 tie game. Overtime was an intense one as both teams had a chance to start from the 10 yard line and North Allegheny went first. The Rams held them to only a field goal and would take the field to have their chance. They were backed up to their own 20 and things were not looking good until Rams quarterback Ben Dinucci fired a pass perfectly to the corner of the end zone for the big WIN! Check out the highlights below of this epic win as the Rams now go 2-0 and move on in the season!
