Hey Sewickley Academy Boys Ice Hockey Fans!
Last night the Panthers hosted the Wheeling Park Patriots at the RMU Neville Island ice rink in PIHL hockey action. The Panthers wouldn’t turn up the heat until the the 2nd period as the Patriots would draw first blood. The Panthers would battle back and notch a goalie of their own….and then another….and then another. By the middle of the third period and some amazing saves by Sewickley’s goalie it was 5-1! The game had it’s heated moments for both sides but the Panthers played a sound game and kept their heads in this one and pulled out a huge victory!
